How Hamptons Key works

One search across Hamptons brokers’ own rental listings.

What this is

Hamptons Key gathers the monthly and seasonal rentals that brokers publish on their own websites and puts them in one searchable place. Every home shows the broker that lists it, the broker’s agents and a link to the broker’s own page.

We are not a brokerage. We do not rent, show or book homes. Sign in with your email to see a broker’s agents and phone numbers and to send an inquiry; the broker answers you directly, and every home also links to the broker’s own page.

Where listings come from

We read only brokers whose robots.txt allows it, at the pace they ask for, and we skip any site whose terms forbid it. Photos stay on each broker’s own website; we link to them and do not copy them.

Listings are checked about once a day. A home the broker removes leaves our site after the broker’s page is gone.

What to know before you rent

Prices, dates and details are the broker’s and can change. A price is shown with the term the broker gave it, such as a month, a summer season or a year round lease, and we never compare prices across terms.

Towns set their own rental rules. Southampton Town requires a rental permit and East Hampton Village requires a seasonal rental registration; both set a two-week minimum stay. Where a broker prints a registration number we show it exactly as printed. Ask the broker to confirm the permit or registration before you pay a deposit. We list only rentals priced by the month or season, never by the night.

Brokers must not screen renters by source of income under New York law. If a listing says otherwise, report it below.

Report or remove a listing

Brokers and owners can ask us to remove or correct any listing. We act on it the same day we read it.
