About this rental

Located on the harbor, this classic turn-of-the-century Farmhouse was recently restored to its former grandeur with updated kitchen and baths. Part of a compound comprised of this waterfront home, an adjacent accessory building/barn which is not included with the rental, and a third structure used by the owners, there are sweeping lawns and established trees, and the setting is both dramatic and tranquil. A two-story veranda offers elevated views of the water from comfortable summer furniture. Enter through a double door entry to an inviting living room with water views on three sides, brick fireplace, modern furnishings and the warmth of vintage bead board. An office is just off the living room. The kitchen, which has all new cabinets and granite counters with breakfast bar, has a lovely rose garden with picket fence just outside. A TV room, full bath with frameless glass shower and sleeping loft with two twin beds is on the west side of the house. The second floor has three guest bedrooms, two of which have doors to the veranda, and a full bath with tub and shower. A pool, which is shared with the guest house and the owners, is set away from the house. Truly enchanting and a step back in time with all modern conveniences, including central air.
